Tigers
On our India tiger safari holidays there will be lots of chances to spot the king of the jungle. The Bengal Tiger is the national animal of India and as the big cat is an endangered animal it will be an encounter you will never forget.
Sloth bear
The sloth bear is a masterful hunter of termites and ants and can often be found pillaging an anthill with puffs, grunts and a Hoover vacuum-like force. They can be seen at the Satpura Range in Central India.
Indian Rhinoceros
Native to the Indian subcontinent, rhinos are primarily found in the north-eastern states of India. The Kaziranga National Park has one of the highest densities of Indian rhinos in the world and is a great place to see this incredible animal.
Elephants
Indian Elephants live in grasslands, evergreen and semi-evergreen forests and can be found in the Corbett National Park and Nagarhole National Park. These giants can spend 19 hours a day feeding, so it’s no wonder they can weigh over 4,000kg!
